Later, drive to Stok, once the summer residence of Ladakhi royalty. Here, step into a 500-year-old homestay for a lovingly cooked traditional meal a true taste of the land and its lineage.
On the return, stop at the Thiksey Monastery, a quiet giant that watches over the valley, before heading up to Namgyal Tsemo. As the sun dips behind the mountains, Leh glows below you timeless and still. Overnight in Leh.

HEIGHTS, HORIZONS, AND A SKY FULL OF STARS
Drive towards Pangong Lake, crossing the mighty Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The air is thin, but the views are endless mountains standing watch as you make your way through Ladakh’s raw beauty.
Soon, the shimmering blue of Pangong appears, stretching wide beneath the open sky. Skip the crowded stretches and head further to the quiet villages of Man or Merak, where the lake feels like it’s yours alone.
As night descends, step out into the silence. Ladakh’s skies are untouched, and tonight, the stars will fall for you. Overnight by Pangong Lake.

BLUE MORNINGS, WILD ROADS, AND VALLEY PRAYERS
Wake up to the stillness of Pangong, where the water meets sky in quiet conversation. Begin your journey toward Nubra Valley, driving through the untamed expanse of Changthang.
Along the way, keep an eye out for marmots sunning themselves beside the road small moments of life in a vast, wild landscape. By afternoon, arrive in Diskit and visit its ancient monastery, where a towering Maitreya Buddha watches over the valley.
Stand there too, and let the views remind you how small and how full the world can feel. Overnight in Nubra Valley.

SPRINGS, SAND, AND WHISPERS OF THE SILK ROUTE
Start your day with a short drive to the Panamic Hot Springs, where warm mineral-rich waters rise from the earth nature’s way of slowing you down.
Later, head to Hunder, where ATV rides and ziplines add a thrill to the desert landscape. Among the shifting dunes, you’ll spot Bactrian camels, their double humps a living echo of the ancient Silk Route.
As the sun softens, spend the evening in the Nubra sand dunes. Ride a camel if you’re up for it, or simply sit still and watch the light change the desert. Overnight in Nubra Valley.

PEAKS, PRAYERS, AND A RETURN TO STILLNESS
Bid farewell to Nubra Valley and begin your journey back to Leh, crossing the legendary Khardung La Pass at 5,359m, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Pause here for sweeping views of the Karakoram range, where the sky feels just within reach.
Descend slowly into Leh, where the pace softens once more. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, its white dome glowing against the dusky sky a place to sit quietly and reflect. If the skies are clear, step out later for an optional stargazing session.
The stars over Leh always have one more story to tell. Overnight in Leh.
