SINGLE ROOT BRIDGE & HIDDEN GEMS

The best days aren’t packed they’re felt. Begin your morning in quiet company at Umkar, a single root bridge that few know, and even fewer visit. There’s no crowd here. Just the soft creak of branches, the murmur of leaves, and the grace of a living bridge that’s been growing for decades.

By afternoon, return to Wahrew, where the world feels slower and more generous. Take a dip in the glass-clear river, paddle softly beneath the hanging trees, or just lie back and watch the light dance on water.

And then, when the day begins to fold into gold, drive to Nohkalikai. Watch the sunset stretch across Meghalaya’s endless hills, where every shade of orange feels like a farewell. Tonight, you sleep in Cherrapunji, heart heavy with peace.
