Wake early and walk to Glory Peak, where the morning sun spills across endless layers of hills. After breakfast, drive to Kohima, stopping at Kisama Heritage Village a curated mosaic of Naga tribes and traditions.

Later, visit the War Cemetery, a moving tribute from World War II, and end your day wandering Keeda Bazaar, Nagaland’s buzzing meat market where the bold meet the curious. Overnight in Kohima

Drive to Khonoma, a village wrapped in stories. Walk past stone paths, bamboo groves, and Angami homes as you learn how the village stood its ground against British invasion and then turned into Asia’s first green village.

Take a scenic drive to Dzuleke, where time seems to pause. Keep an eye out for Mithun Nagaland’s semi-domesticated forest guardian as you walk along a quiet trail that hugs the river.

On your way back to Dimapur, stop at the State Museum in Kohima to piece together the tribes, traditions, and transformations of Nagaland.

Closer to Dimapur, drop into Diezephe Craft Village, where the age-old art of wood carving and weaving still shapes everyday life. Overnight in Dimapur
